About a couple weeks ago Firmoo contacted me to see if I wanted get a free pair of glasses to review. I said yes to Firmoo because I know there are a lot of youtube video reviewing their glasses, I wanted to see for myself.

Now before I go any further I want to make it clear that I don’t wear glasses. I know I need to go to the eye doctor and get my eyes check out but as of right now I don’t wear prescription glasses. My best friend wears glasses and I know how expensive glasses can get. Also if I were to ever need to buy myself a pair of glasses I would know one place I can go.

Firmoo is on online shop where you can buy prescription glasses for a really cheap price. There are a lot of videos on YouTube reviewing their glasses if you just YouTube them. I didn’t watch any of the videos besides Alexandria Smith’s video a couple months weeks ago. Other then that I did not see any other videos.

To start off, there are a lot of eyeglasses on Firmoo with prices ranging from $19.99 to $39.99. You get the options of customizing your glasses but the more customized you want your glasses to be the more expensive it will get. If you just want the basics without all the fancy customization then everything will be free with no extra charge. Adding your prescriptions will also be free, minus adding bifocal lens.

As someone who just want the basic for everything and don’t need all that extra stuff, the basics will be fine for me.

Because Firmoo is an online shop and you can’t try on the glasses yourself there are size indication with the glasses so you can tell what size will fit your face shape. They also provide measurements on the glasses so you can make sure you are choosing the right size. And lastly you are able to upload a picture of yourself so you can virtually try on the glasses to see if you like the way they look on you.

Standard shipping will cost you $5.95 while express shipping is $12.95. When I ordered my glasses I got standard shipping. It took about a 10 days for me to get my glasses.  

Now that I got all that out of the way let’s get onto the glasses I received.

First Impressions

When I received my glasses it was a total surprise because I did not know that my glasses had been shipped. Along with the glasses, I got a glasses case, a microfiber cloth to clean the glasses lens and screws to adjust the frame. They all came inside a small bag.

I chose the style #OBU1017A (https://www.firmoo.com/eyeglasses-p-4522.html) because I like that it was basic enough that on days when I want to be a little hipster I can just put it on. My first impression on the glasses were that the frames were really thin. They were thin enough to the point that I can bend the temple. It’s a good thing that if you have a bigger head, then it won’t hurt your head as much. But to me that also means they feel like they are prone to breaking more easily.

Other than the part when the frames feels really thin the glasses were so cute. I really like them. I think they go really well with my style and my face shape.

My Thoughts

I know how expensive glasses can be. My best friend paid over 200 dollars for a pair of glasses that she didn’t like. My other friend paid over 100 dollars just to get her frames replaced. She didn’t like the frames either, but she had to settle for them because they was the only one that fit her current lens. So even though I don’t wear glasses I know people around me who do and how costly they can get.

When ordering from Firmoo you are going to get the quality you paid for. Mine did not feel like a pair of eyeglasses that cost me hundreds of dollars and they weren’t. They were only 20 dollars.  

If you are on a tight on a budget or looking for a more affordable option for eyeglasses, I think should definitely give Firmoo a try. They have hundreds of frames to choose from with no added fee for your prescription lens unless you want bifocals.  If I ever did need to buy prescription eyeglasses I would definitely look on Firmoo.

Along with an affordable eyeglasses you get some aaaccessories to go along with it. The case that comes with the glasses is a really good quality and if you take care of the glasses it will definitely last you for a while. For the price you pay and the accessories you get with the glasses I honestly think Firmoo is a really good deal.

While contacting me Firmoo gave me a code for my readers and subscriber to get a free pair of glasses. The code only works for certain eyeglasses styles with all the basic lens choices. It does not cover shipping so you will have to pay the $5.95 for standard or $12.95 for express. There is also a handling fee of $4.95 for the free glasses. I did notice the handling fee did not apply if you were to pay full price for the glasses. So basically you will pay around $10 to $18 dollars for your first pair of glasses from Firmoo.

Final Thoughts

Overall the only thing I did not like was the limited choice for the free pair of glasses and how my frames felt. Other than that I really like my Firmoo glasses and will be recommending the sites to my friends.
